Partnering up with Nepata GmbH – The synergy of two industry leaders amplifies the Revolutionary Automatic Roll Storage System (ARSS) and Brings Efficiency to the Forefront
This partnership brings the ARSS to life, providing comprehensive solutions in the film-converting industry and ensuring unsurpassed quality and efficiency worldwide.
With the expertise of Nepata in film rolls, slitting, and rewinding, along with C&H System’s automation skills in roll handling and gantry robotics, we are taking efficiency and quality to the next level.
Customized Solutions for Varied Needs: Transforming Warehouse Processes
The innovative ARSS is engineered for superior storage for roll media, with a capacity of up to 1722 rolls, but can easily be redesigned to an even higher capacity if needed.
The system optimizes processes through software, standing out for its minimal footprint. It is tailored to meet individual needs and adapts to customer specifications regarding dimensions, capacity, and number of transfer stations.
Innovative Approach to Converting Processes
In the intricate world of converting processes, storing, and retrieving roll media is constantly needed. This often involves handling thousands of rolls and numerous picks every day.
Even with high-speed sortation, traditional storage methods are plagued by inefficiencies and significant costs. But the ARSS redefines roll media efficiency.
How “ARSS” Works
ARSS employs a vertical 3-axis Gantry Robot where rolls are hung compactly on horizontal mandrels. This robot, integrated with a specially designed tray gripper, sequentially moves, and picks the rolls needed for each job. The roll is then placed in a free transfer station, where the operator can manually retrieve it.
Software Integration: Smarter Control and Monitoring
The software can fully integrate, optimize storage locations, and signal when new material rolls are needed. This ensures rolls are used optimally concerning their age and remaining length, avoiding the use of overaged rolls, and minimizing remnants.
Excellence and Reliability: The ARSS Advantage
Our ARSS system results from years of expertise, offering the utmost reliability and efficiency in film logistics. The top-quality components are sourced from brands like Sick and Siemens, ensuring robustness and exceptional performance. Our commitment to engineering sophistication means fewer faults and downtime, paving the way for smooth business operations and maximized productivity.
Scalability and Redundancy: Catering to Evolving Business Needs
ARSS is designed to grow with your business, offering scalability to accommodate increasing storage capacity and handling capabilities. The system can handle more rolls and speed up material handling processes, increasing productivity, and ensuring uninterrupted operations.
Industry Applications: Beyond Film and Textile
While ARSS finds its applications predominantly in the roll-media industry, its utility extends to the paper, textile, plastics, food, beverage, and metal industries, making it a versatile solution across sectors.
Elevated Security and Resource Efficiency
ARSS contributes significantly to the well-being and safety of employees by limiting the necessity for manual handling of heavy rolls of material. This proactive approach to employee safety is crucial when materials can be heavy and hazardous. This is particularly valuable in the current landscape, marked by a pressing shortage of manpower, ensuring that available staff can be allocated to roles where their skills can be utilized more effectively and safely.
ARSS – is a Paradigm Shift in Roll Storage Solutions
The ARSS is redefining standards in roll storage solutions, offering efficiency, control, and customization. From superior quality components to scalability, ARSS embraces a future where your logistics processes are streamlined, your productivity is maximized, and your operations are seamless.
