Gantry Robot Design for Enhanced Efficiency and Precision
Our gantry robot design utilizes two horizontal linear guides in the x-axis supported by a strong steel frame. The gantry carriage moves smoothly between these linear guides, while the vertical stroke for the gripper is achieved by the gantry carriage itself. The vertical “slider” also uses guides to move across the gantry carriage.
Thanks to the double beams in the X-axis, the gripper working payloads are resolved as forces on the X axes, leading to increased system stiffness and the ability to achieve long stroke lengths and high speeds.
