Adjustable pallet magazine – Increases efficiency and safety
The adjustable pallet magazine delivers empty pallets when palletizing and can handle two different widths of pallets in the same magazine, saving you space and money!
Further, an adjustable pallet magazine ensures you:
- Accurate handling of your empty pallets
- High operating capacity without downtime, limiting the amount of forklift driving. The infeed of pallets is only necessary when the stack is almost empty
- The fixation of pallets is high, which creates high security for your operators
- You can use your existing “hard-to-hire workforce” for more demanding tasks and thus increase efficiency

Technical information
Details
When the palletizing system calls for an empty pallet, the stack is lifted by a hydraulic lifting table, and pneumatic clamps hold the stack elevated when the lifting table is lowered. The empty pallet at the bottom can now be conveyed to the palletizing area.
The adjustable pallet magazine can, in our standard configuration, simultaneously manage stacks of 15 pallets, and the automatic switching between the two pallet widths is done when the magazine is empty.
It is also possible to incorporate a nail-detecting system on the pallet magazine to protect your valuable products from protruding nails that often are the reason for costly production stops.
Knowledge and service
Whether you’re looking for a material handling system, advanced conveyor system or robotic palletizing.
Our experienced design team analyses your application, existing and new conditions through site visits, product mix analysis, de-bottlenecking, and tailer-make a solution well suited for your new or existing production line.
When you require a higher capacity, a different product mix or a leaner production flow, we can develop the solution(s) in 3D layout for easy review of all details, interfaces, check of footprint and scope of supply.
The layout can easily be shared with end-users, operators, and specialists for exchange of experience, developing the optimum long-lasting solution.
Most projects have several possible solutions, and it is important to align the projects to meet the financial budget, designing the most cost-effective solution.
When creating projects in several steps, we always keep your end configuration in mind, this guarantee major equipment is placed correct the first time, ensuring good accessibility at the end stage.
Meeting your specification and requirement is our main objective – capacity, startup on time and meeting the budget are the key factors.
The capacity of a new or upgraded automatic system shall be met, and critical parts of the layout is simulated, using Visual Components software together with the CH designed conveyors, machines, gantry robots or Kuka industrial robots & AGV’s.
Product traceability is secured using the latest technology including 2.D barcodes, RFID tags, etc. Using Industry 4.0 technologies, we strive to build and design the most intelligent production line for your future factory.
