Automatic pallet magazine with lifting table and pallet tilt protection can increase efficiency and your bottom line!

An automatic pallet magazine, also known as an automated storage and retrieval system, is an industrial system that stores and retrieves pallets.

The advantages of using an automatic pallet magazine in production are:

  • Increased efficiency: Automated systems can handle a much higher volume of pallets than manual systems more quickly and with less error. This can result in significant time and cost savings for a factory.
  • Reduced labor costs: Automated systems require fewer of your hard-to-hire workers to operate.
  • Increased safety: Automated systems can reduce the risk of injury to workers by eliminating the need for manual pallet handling and less forklift transport. The system can include safety features such as sensor systems to prevent collisions between the automated equipment and workers.
  • Scalability: Automated storage and retrieval systems can be easily scaled to meet a facility’s changing needs, whether for extra storage capacity or for higher throughput.

It is easy to expand with additional components, such as; nail detector system to protect your valuable products from protruding nails.
Dimensional cheeks and/or one or two buffer conveyors in front of the pallet magazine can increase the time between forklift transport to only one per shift.

Technical information

Details

This magazine consists of a hydraulic lifting table with a maximum load of 1.000 kg and can store up to 15 pallets and destack them one at a time using the hydraulic lifting table and pneumatic grippers.

The pallet magazine is equipped with gates for securing pallets from tilting out of the magazine and a brush for cleaning the pallet leaving the magazine.

They can be designed for use with various pallet sizes and materials and can be customized to meet specific needs.

Knowledge and service

Whether you’re looking for a material handling system, advanced conveyor system or robotic palletizing.

Our experienced design team analyses your application, existing and new conditions through site visits, product mix analysis, de-bottlenecking, and tailer-make a solution well suited for your new or existing production line.

When you require a higher capacity, a different product mix or a leaner production flow, we can develop the solution(s) in 3D layout for easy review of all details, interfaces, check of footprint and scope of supply.

The layout can easily be shared with end-users, operators, and specialists for exchange of experience, developing the optimum long-lasting solution.

Most projects have several possible solutions, and it is important to align the projects to meet the financial budget, designing the most cost-effective solution.

When creating projects in several steps, we always keep your end configuration in mind, this guarantee major equipment is placed correct the first time, ensuring good accessibility at the end stage.

Meeting your specification and requirement is our main objective – capacity, startup on time and meeting the budget are the key factors.

The capacity of a new or upgraded automatic system shall be met, and critical parts of the layout is simulated, using Visual Components software together with the CH designed conveyors, machines, gantry robots or Kuka industrial robots & AGV’s.

Product traceability is secured using the latest technology including 2.D barcodes, RFID tags, etc. Using Industry 4.0 technologies, we strive to build and design the most intelligent production line for your future factory.
